Looking Ahead

Updated forecast winds based on 11 am HST update for Hurricane Hector. A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Big Island Southeast Waters and Big Island Leeward Waters. The Big Island itself remains under the Tropical Storm Watch. A Gale Warning has also been issued for the Pailolo Channel, Alenuihaha Channel and Maalea Bay beginning at midnight tonight, which replaces the Gale Watch that was in effect. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for these areas until midnight.
