Looking Ahead

A breezy to locally windy and slightly unstable trade wind flow will persist into Saturday. Clouds and showers, a few briefly heavy, will periodically spread from windward slopes across to leeward areas, while leeward Big Island slopes experience scattered afternoon showers and an isolated thunderstorm. A breezy and stable trade wind flow will develop on Sunday, focusing modest showers over windward areas. It is still too soon to know if Hurricane Hector will impact island weather during the middle to end of next week.
