The West Hawai‘i Community Health Center invites the public to join them for a Dental Blessing and Open House at the Waikoloa Dental Center on Friday, July 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their new dental center located at the Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center. Kahu Danny Akaka and wife Anna will lead the blessing program at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to tour Waikoloa’s new state-of-the-art dental center and meet the West Hawai‘i Community Health Center’s dental team.
“Providing access to oral healthcare is critical to the overall healthcare of our community,” noted West Hawai‘i Community Health Center’s CEO Richard Taaffe. “After a long process, we are very excited to open the doors to our newest dental center in Waikoloa. We look forward to welcoming the North Hawai‘i community to the open house and to our dental services.”
The Waikoloa Dental Center team will be headed by Dr. Steven Pine, Dr. Matthew Stewart and Dr. Kyoko Awamura and is accepting new patients and offering high-quality oral health care to local residents within the North Hawai‘i area including Waikoloa, Waimea and Kohala. The Waikoloa Dental Center accepts all forms of insurance including residents with Kaiser dental insurance. Dental appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m..
