Looking Ahead

High pressure far north of Hawaii will drive moderate to fresh trade winds through the middle of next week. Showers carried by the trades will increase from later today and continue through Sunday, with the possibility of locally heavy downpours over windward sections this weekend. Drier weather is forecast to spread across the islands early next week, followed by the potential for another increase in rainfall over parts of the island chain around the middle of next week.
