‘Reggae Party’ at Hilo Town Tavern

Come on out and dance with Big Island’s own, original local roots rock reggae band, “Lopaka Rootz and HI in I” at Hilo Town Tavern on Saturday, July 14, starting at 9 p.m.

The full band will be performing their hit singles: Aftershock and The Ocean, some cover tunes as well as showcase their newest tune, “Puff Puff Pass,” which will be released on July 20, 2018.

The full band is comprised of Michael Surprenant on drums, Sarah Bethany on keyboards and harmony vocals, James Stapleford on melodica and harmony vocals, Nikhil Narahari playing bass, Pat Eskildsen on lead guitar and harmony vocals, Jesse Snyder on saxophone and Lopaka Rootz rhythm guitar and lead vocals.

The band is currently working on a new music video with Lucas Zambrano Films for The Ocean which they plan to release soon.

Hilo Town Tavern is located at 168 Keawe St. There will be a $10 cover charge at the door.
