Gov. and Lt. Gov. Forum in Kailua-Kona, June 15

The public is invited to attend a moderated Gubernatorial and Lieutenant Governor Candidate Forum on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kealakehe High School Cafeteria, presented by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and Community Forums.

Participants include four Gubernatorial Candidates Democrats US Representative Colleen Hanabusa and Governor David Ige and Republicans John Carroll and Andria Tupola.The candidates for Lieutenant Governor who have confirmed participation are Bernard P. Carvalho, Jr., William C. Espero, Joshua B. Green and Kim Coco Iwamoto.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. The Lieutenant Governor candidates will be on stage first for 30 minutes. The Governor forum will follow promptly.

Moderator Sherry Bracken, will pose questions to the panels of candidates. If you have questions to suggest, please do so in advance to [email protected].

Co-sponsors include the Kohala Coast Resort Association, League of Women Voters, West Hawaii Association of Realtors and West Hawai‘i Today.

Kealakehe High School is located at 74-5000 Puohulihuli St. in Kailua-Kona, off Ane Keohokalole Highway. There is ample free parking. Please note, no campaign signs are allowed on the high school property or in the forum.
