Women who are interested in returning to college, changing careers, or looking for new opportunities are encouraged to attend a special event at Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui on Saturday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The event, “Women In Transition: Skills, Knowledge, Opportunities,” will feature a lineup of inspirations speakers, break-out sessions, and womenʻs resources to help participants open new doors in their lives. A continental breakfast will be served beginning at 7:50 a.m. Some of the break-out session titles include: Do you have the courage to state ʻI choose me?,ʻ be your own boss, preparing for your career success, and getting your degree online.

Registration is required and limited space is available. The fee to attend is $10 and the deadline to sign up is June 12. Sponsorships are available for those in need of financial assistance.
