Honoka‘a residents will now be able to have their prescriptions delivered to their homes free of charge because of a program offered by the Hawai‘i Medical Service Association and CVS Health, which does business in Hawai‘i as Longs Drugs.

The program is open to HMSA members in the Honoka‘a community who have prescriptions filled at Longs.

“We’re always collaborating with our partners to find ways to make life easier for our members,” said HMSA President and CEO Michael B. Stollar. “We’ve been working with state lawmakers to increase affordable access to prescription drugs. You shouldn’t have to go out of your way to get your medications. Now, store employees will bring your prescriptions right to your doorstep. That means no long drives to the pharmacy.”
