Hilton Waikoloa to Host ‘Irish Bash’ on St. Patrick’s Day

Hilton Waikoloa Village will host an Irish Bash in celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day on Friday, Mar. 16, from 8 to 10 p.m. at the resort’s Kona Tap Room. The event will feature Irish music performances by The Kilt Lifters, Hawai‘i Irish Dance and a selection of special drinks and dishes.

The Kilt Lifters are a band bringing a modern twist to traditional Celtic music. The band members include Chris Carr on guitar, flute, and lead vocals; Mark Caudill on fiddle; Jason Stith on rhythm and bass; and Sam Woldenberg on percussion.

Hawai‘i Irish Dance is comprised of a diverse group of students, professionals and friends, who share a love of dance, music and Irish culture. The group is a member of the Drake School of Irish Dance, hailed as one of the most prestigious Irish Dance Schools in the U.S.

Special menu items at the Irish Bash will be an assortment of Irish-themed foods including corn beef sliders and braised bratwurst. Drinks will include green beer.
