The Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keahou Bay announces that James “Jim” Palank has been selected as the new Director of Sales. Palank brings more than 20 years of executive sales experience to the Sheraton Kona.
“We are honored and thrilled to welcome Jim Palank to the Sheraton Kona sales team. Jim brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and charisma, along with his extensive Sales and Marketing background,” said JoAnn Lenhardt, Director of Operations at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa.
Palank recently held the Senior Director of Resort Sales position at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Waikīkī. Prior to the Ritz-Carlton, Jim fulfilled the positions of Director of Sales and Marketing at the Montage Kapalua Bay, The Royal Hawaiian: A Luxury Collection Resort, Trump Hotel Collection, Kahala Mandarin Oriental and the Westin Maui. Additionally, Palank held previous roles as the Regional Director of Leisure Sales for both Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Marriott Resorts Hawai‘i.

”It is with great excitement that I will be joining the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa team on Hawai‘i Island.” Palank stated. “I look forward to continuing the historical achievements the resort has accomplished in recent years and elevating the resorts success to new levels.”
During Palank’s free time, he enjoys partaking in ocean activities including surfing, standup paddling and sailing.
