The Lion’s Club of Kona Community Foundation will present an evening of romance and dance with Grammy and Hoku-nominated Hawaiian swing band Kahulanui on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Hosted by Kapa radio’s Jaz and Ka‘ae, the evening will include a no-host bar, silent auction, games and giveaways at the hotel’s courtyard overlooking the ocean. Tickets are $75 in advance and $80 at the door. VIP tables for parties of up to 10 are available for $1200.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.kahulanui.com. The first 200 tickets sold will include a Mele Ho‘oilina preview CD, also available at Soundwave Music in Kona.
