The 7th Annual Kona Jazz Experience will be held at the historic Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu at 7 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2018.

This year’s concert will feature Loren Wilken & Friends, and Sarah Bethany on vocals and keyboard, with Glen Goto on keyboards, Bill Noble and Jesse Snyder on saxophones, Pat Eskildsen on bass, Garry Russell on trombone, and Matt Spencer and Michael Surprenant on drums.

Snyder just performed as part of Hawaiian Swing Band Kahulanui at the CD release party for Mele Ho‘oilina at the Kahilu Theatre.

Bethany will perform original music as well as covers of her favorite artists.

The group has performed in the past at the annual East Hawaii Jazz and Blues Festival at Nani Mau Gardens.

The Kona Jazz Experience’s mission is to bring high-quality live jazz performances to the people of the Big Island.

These well-known local artists perform regularly on the island and beyond are sure to delight jazz fans.

Tickets are $20 and available online at AlohaTheatre.com, at the theater box office one hour before performance time or by calling (808) 322-9924 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

All proceeds will benefit the Aloha Performing Arts Co.
