Parade goers lined up along the rock wall around Kailua Bay and Kailua Pier for the 4th Annual Lighted Boat Parade on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017.
The parade consisted of decorated boats, double-hulled canoes and one stand-up paddleboarder with his dog.
Body Glove Cruises was docked at Kailua Pier for great parade viewing.

On the Fair Wind, Christmas Carolers sang holiday favorites, while on other vessels participants waved, danced and sang as they cruised the bay.
A highlight of the parade and a crowd favorite were the two double-hulled canoes. The paddlers chanted, “ho, ho, ho” while those along the shore shouted, “Merry Christmas.”
The parade followed the Kokua Kailua and Village Marketplace and holiday concert featuring Hilo’s Grammy Award winner, Kalani Pe‘a.

Kailua Kalikimaka is brought to the community by Kailua Village Business Improvement District and the Hawaii Tourism Authority with support from community partners KTA Super Stores, Current Events, Kona Commons, On The Rocks, Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, Huggo’s, KBXtreme, Bank of Hawaii, Lex Brodie’s Tires, Body Glove Cruises, Brewery Block and Walmart.
