The Hawai‘i Police Department’s Puna Community Police responded to five burglaries, two robberies, five vehicle thefts and four vehicle break-ins in the Puna District over the 14-day period from Nov. 16 to 30, 2017.
Of the five vehicles reported stolen, two had been recovered at the time of this publication.
The complete list of locations affected and date in which the incidents occurred are as follows:
5 BURGLARIES
On Nov. 17, the victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Ohialani Road in Eden Roc and removed an ATV, camping supplies and other miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 19, the victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Palainui Avenue in Eden Roc and removed a generator and electronics.
On Nov. 24, the victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Lehua Street in Fern Acres and removed a firearm, electronics and power tools.
On Nov. 29, the victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Ainaloa Boulevard in Ainaloa and removed jewelry, clothing, cosmetic items and other miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 30, the victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims residence on Opihi Street in Hawaiian Shores and removed electronics.

2 ROBBERIES
On Nov. 17, the victim reported that he went over to his neighbors property on Puni Kahakai Loop in Hawaiian Beaches to investigate a suspicious sound. Victim reported that he confronted a party attempting to remove an item. The suspect then struck the victim and removed a firearm from the victim’s person.
On Nov. 25, the victim reported that suspect(s) struck him and removed a wallet from his person on Hale Way in Ainaloa.
5 STOLEN VEHICLES
On Nov. 16, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims black Nissan pickup truck from O‘oa‘a Road (Road 6) in Hawaiian Acres.
On Nov. 21, victim reported that the suspect re-moved the victims tan Honda multipurpose vehicle from Pulelehua Road (Road 11) in Hawaiian Acres.
On Nov. 24, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims vehicle from Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road (Highway 137) in Kalapana. Vehicle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 25, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims motorcycle from Kea‘au-Pāhoa Road (Highway 130) in Kea‘au. Motorcycle has since been recovered.
On Nov. 26, victim reported that the suspect removed the victims gold Toyota pickup truck from 21st Street in Hawaiian Paradise Park.
4 VEHICLE BREAK-INS
On Nov. 22, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Highway 132 in Kapoho and re-moved miscellaneous items.
On Nov. 24, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Highway 130 in Kalapana and removed electronics.
On Nov. 29, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Ainaloa Boulevard in Ainaloa and removed the car stereo.
On Nov. 29, victim reported that suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle on Highway 132 in Kapoho and re-moved miscellaneous items.
