Creative Lab Hawaiʻi (CLH) invites the public to find out about future programs coming to Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi in 2018.

Representatives from the State of Hawaiʻi, Creative Industries Division, Media Program Executive Director Michael Palmieri, Music Program Executive Director Charles Brotman and CLH Writers Immersive Fellow Amy Bircher will be on-hand to share information and answer questions.

Bircher, a resident of the Island of Hawaiʻi and a current fellow in CLH’s “Writers Immersive” program, just optioned her screenplay, Victorian Christmas, to producers in Hollywood. Bircher also landed a work-for-hire screenplay assignment for another production company in Hollywood, as well.

The event is open to all creative entrepreneurs in the field of screenwriting; television, motion pictures, web and animation, to producers of music and fashion.

The meet and greet will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Na Leo Television studio located 91 Mohouli St. in Hilo. Find out more and RSVP here.

CLH was founded in 2012 by the State of Hawaiʻi DBEDT’s Creative Industries Division (CID) to develop an ecosystem to increase export, attract investment and build the state’s creative entrepreneurial capacity.
