Big Island residents and visitors will have the opportunity to meet and talk with members of the Hawai‘i Island Police Department on Friday, Nov. 17, at Island Lava Java in the Waikoloa Shopping Center.
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in the Hawai‘i community.
The mission of “Coffee with a Cop” is to break down barriers between police officers and citizens by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in the neighborhood.
