Workshops will also be held on Maui, Kaua‘i and O‘ahu.

All workshops run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is available online or register at the door beginning at 8 a.m.

This year’s workshop topics include: an update on the 2017 legislative session and administrative rules, a presentation on where the State’s money comes from, and an online demonstration for verified practitioners.

“The Department is excited to present its annual tax workshop and welcomes the tax community to attend,” said Maria Zielinski, Director of Taxation. “These workshops provide the Department with an opportunity to engage with and hear from the tax community.”

The fee is $90 for individuals who submit their registration and payment by the registration deadline.

Late registrations are $110 per person. Walk-in registrations will be accepted at the door on a space‑available basis.

The fee includes a continental breakfast, workshop materials, and three hours of Hawaii Board of Public Accountancy Continuing Professional Education credit.

Workshop materials may be separately purchased for $25 per set.

Online registration may be completed through each of the community college’s websites or by mail. For more information and to view the registration form, visit the Department of Taxation’s website.
