Prince Dance Theatre will present its annual fundraiser and dance party at the Honokaʻa People’s Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 7 to 10 p.m.

“The Carnival of Exotic Mayhem” will feature costumes, video projections, magic, fire dancers, go-go dancers, aerialists, dance and cabaret performances, and more. DJ Danny Waddell will spin live music throughout the night in the carnival-like setting.

Prince Dance Theatre, a local nonprofit dance company, expects the event to be bigger than the previous two years.

Proceeds will aid the creation of the company’s latest work, Dark Matter. As a collaborative artistic effort between Artistic Director Angel Prince and Canada France Hawaiʻi Telescope astronomer Dr. Jean-Charles Cuillandre, Dark Matter aims to be an informative and entertaining theater performance on space and dark matter for local students.

The dance party will be an all ages event and attendees are encouraged to dress up in carnival-themed costumes and join the fun.

Tickets are $25 pre-sale for adults, $30 day of the event. Children ages 12 and under are $10. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling (808) 217-3008.
