The 4th annual Letter to My Parents contest is looking for contestants that have a story to share about growing up in Hawai‘i. The contest asks participants to share their story in a letter format.

The letter should focus on the contestants experiences and feelings towards their parents or legal guardians. Participants are encouraged to submit examples from their personal life and reflections on family relationships and interactions.

Letter to My Parents is open to Hawai‘i residents ages 14 to 22. Ten winners will be selected and they each will receive a $50 gift certificate and a year-long test-prep course subscription, courtesy of BenchPrep. Among the ten finalists, three contestants with the most share-worthy letter will receive $500.
