Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help for any witnesses or information relative to an incident that occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, between 3 and 5 p.m., at Carlsmith Beach Park in Hilo.

A black 2011 Hyundai sedan was severely damaged while it was parked and unattended in the parking lot near the bathrooms.

Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Aaron Kaeo of the South Hilo Patrol at (808) 961-2203.
