Hawaiian Airlines announced it will begin nonstop flights aboard new Airbus A330-200 aircrafts between Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport in Japan beginning in February 2018. The new aircrafts feature luxury full-flat seating and premium economy seats to passengers.
“We are delighted to offer our Sapporo guests the comfort and amenities of the A330 aircraft as they enjoy the Hawaiian hospitality that defines our in-flight experience,” said Takaya Shishido, country director of Japan at Hawaiian Airlines.
The New Chitose Airport will join Tokyo’s two major airports, Haneda and Narita, as well as Osaka’s Kansai gateway in offering passengers service aboard the wide-body A330s, said Shishido.

The Hawai‘i-based carrier is already accepting reservations for flights from Honolulu to Sapporo beginning Feb. 1, 2018, and flights from Sapporo to Honolulu beginning Feb. 2, 2018.

Since launching flights to Sapporo in October 2012, Hawaiian Airlines has carried some 200,000 passengers aboard its three-times-weekly flights aboard Boeing 767-300ERs.
