Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park to Host Zero Mile Run Fundraiser

Join Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National park for the Zero Mile Run at Cooper Center in Volcano Village on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. Credit: FHVNP

Join the Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park (FHVNP) for the Zero Mile charity fun run on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 11 a.m., sponsored by Volcano Rainforest Runs.

The race starts and ends at the Cooper Center in Volcano Village.

Participants are welcome to walk, roll or crawl across the finish line.

Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for youth under 14. Children in strollers are free.

Proceeds will support the Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park educational programs.

Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park race medal.
