ʻIsolationʻ Photo Exhibit Opens at EHCC on June 3

The East Hawai‘i Cultural Center (EHCC) will present a photography exhibition themed around isolation from June 3 to July 1, 2017.

The exhibit will open at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, with a talk by this yearʻs juror, renowned photographer and award-winning educator Linda Connor. The free event will include award presentations in addition to the exhibitʻs photography viewing.

“Isolation” will explore its self-titled subject matter through the lenses of 25 contemporary photographers from Hawai‘i Island and beyond.

The featured photographers will include: Ariya Bunyapamai, Kathleen Carr, Tara Cronin, Bob Douglas, David Edelstein, John Ferdico, M. Flanagan, C. Edward Freeman, Leah Gose, Stephen Haynes, Dorothy Imagire, Ashley Katamoto, Kyle Kim, Valerie Kim, Cassandra Klos, Minny Lee, Wayne Levin, Agusto Murrillo, Louie Perry, Gisele Cassarotti Prescott, Joseph Ruesing, Jon Shimizu, Ross Togashi, Naona “Peaches” Wallin, Betsy Ward.
