As a condition of probation, in addition to jail, Patyjewicz must also undergo sex offender treatment, register as a sex offender, have no contact with minor children, and pay court fees and costs.

On May 27, 2016, an O‘ahu grand jury indicted Patyjewicz for two counts of promoting child abuse in the second degree, a class B felony. Each count is punishable by up to ten years in prison.

Less than 24 hours after a request from the Attorney General for public assistance in locating Patyjewicz, he was arrested at Ala Moana Beach Park.
