Kona-Kohala Chamber to Host AfterHours Event, May 17

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s networking event, AfterHours, will take place on Wednesday, May 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hawaiʻi Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor.

The event is open to the public and attendees will learn about the marina’s business community and West Hawaiʻi’s ocean recreation industry.

Guests can also enjoy the Kona sunset, enjoy pupus donated by Jack’s Diving Locker and Gentry’s Kona Marina and imbibe on thirst-quenching libations.

Door prizes include Captain Zodiac’s snorkel trips, Dolphin Journey’s dolphin swims and marine-related goods from the ocean recreation community.

The Chamber’s monthly pau hana meets every third Wednesday of the month and is a networking event that offers attendees the chance to link with others in the local business community, network with and meet new members and exchange business cards.

General admission cost is $30; $15 for Chamber members and first-time non-members.
