The new road construction and traffic light on Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway leads straight onto Waikoloa Beach Road and to the Kings’ Golf Course where the restaurant is located.

A major feature of the restaurant is the fresh-raised foods from local farmers, ranchers and fisherman.

There’s a story behind every ingredient, according to Chef Hess, who says that he personally knows the people who provide the food he cooks.

The old Kings’ Grille at Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf underwent renovations in the fall of 2015 and reemerged as Chef Allen Hess’ own island oasis, Mai Grille.
