The public is invited for a free concert by the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa’s Wind Ensemble at Kamehameha Schools Hawai’i campus on Saturday, April 1, at 4 p.m. The performance will feature light overtures, several soloists and an exhibition of Mussorgsky’s Pictures.

The UH Wind Ensemble is described as the “premiere group of the UH Bands,” with 45 of the top wind and percussions players from UH-Mānoa under the direction of Jeffrey Boeckman.

In addition to the April 1 concert, the UH Wind Ensemble will also provide workshops with three Hilo/Kea’au school bands.
