Hawaiʻi Island police have located 17-year-old Summer Steenolsen of Kona, who was reported missing.

She was found unharmed in Kona on Friday afternoon, March 17.

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona girl who was last seen in Hilo on Dec. 11.

Reported missing, Summer Steenolsen is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-7, 135 pounds with reddish-blonde shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
