Over 2,000 Big Island residents and visitors attended last weekend’s Living + Design Show on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25 and 26, at the Sheraton Kona Resort at Keauhou Bay’s Kaleiopapa Convention Center.
The newly revamped Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s 12th annual home improvement expo showcased the latest goods, door-buster deals and endless options for a better home.
Booths presented products, services and information relating to the building and improvement of homes, apartments and condos.

The numerous exhibits featured home design, construction and remodel ideas, including home decorating, flooring and window treatments, kitchen countertops and baths home energy products and more.
From general contracting and materials to home design and décor, the expo often features furnishings, blinds and shutters, window tinting, kitchen countertops, cabinets and flooring, pest control, solar, financing and more.
Guests were also invited to enter giveaways and drawings at vendor booths. Attendees also had the opportunity to win a two-night stay at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.

Debuting at this year’s 12th annual Living + Design Show is Lifestyle Market, which featured a farmers market and craft show.
Farmers, crafters and budding entrepreneurs offered locally made products directly to consumers.
Formally known as Building and Design Expo, the renamed Living + Design Show has been touted as “Hawai‘i Island’s largest home show,” with more than 40 vendor booths exhibiting their goods and services in the two-day event.
