Breezy trade winds are expected across the state until the weekend with passing clouds and showers for windward and mauka spots. Lots of sunshine is expected for leeward areas. Winds are forecast to drop over the weekend.

We have northeast winds today around 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 40 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 77° to 82°. Partly sunny skies are expected with isolated afternoon showers for the Kona side and scattered showers for the Hilo side.

Tonight 

Northeast winds are forecast from 15 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered windward showers. Clear skies for leeward areas. Low temperatures from 64° to 69°.
