Fire Destroys Ocean View Structure

Big Island firefighters responded to the report of a structure blaze on Ocean View Parkway in Ocean View on Monday, Feb. 13.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at 5:54 p.m. to find a 20-by-20-foot, single-story, unpermitted structure fully engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished at 7:55 p.m.

No occupants were at home at the time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
