Holualoa Village Kicks Off 2017 First Fridays

Holualoa Village will kick off the new year with new art and artists, tasty street eats and music all along Māmalahoa Highway during its monthly Art-After-Dark event from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Friday evening, Jan. 6.

Dave Lawrence will deliver classic rock ’n’ roll on the Koa Realty lānai across from the landmark Kona Hotel, while the Lava Bowls food truck serves up hot treats.

Holualoa Ukulele Gallery will host popular Hawaiian and contemporary tunes by
Mauka High Notes and refreshments on the front lanai.

Holualoa Gallery will offer street eats from Holoholoz Fresh Fish and Kona Dogs, along with live music from Maestro Andrew Sweeney on keyboards.

M. Field Gallery will showcase the latest art by owners Mike and Terry Field.

Outside, the Pizza Rovers will serve up fresh, custom-made pizzas from their pizza oven during the Friday evening event.
