Kona Dance and Performing Arts will present “An Evening of Tap Dance and Entertainment,” its first full-length production and fundraiser in Kealakekua on Sept. 24 and 25,

Over 45 performers in colorful costumes will entertain with tap dance, jazz dance and musical theatre numbers complete with comedy, singing, acting and tap improvisation.

The show is choreographed by Amanda Trusty.

The entire event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit arts organization and its rich performing arts education program.

Sponsored by over 30 Big Island businesses, including the Aloha Performing Arts Company, the show will provide an excellent opportunity for families to be introduced to the performing arts community.

Pre-sale tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for keiki and $10 for groups of 10 or more.

Tickets are available at the studio, 81-973 Haleki’i St., Kealakekua (across from
the Korner Pocket) or online.
