HPD Investigating Hilo Tablet Theft

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a theft at a business establishment on the 200 block of Kekuanaoa Street in Hilo.

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, a man entered the business and removed an electronic tablet valued at $450. His image was captured on a surveillance camera.

Police ask anyone who knows his identity to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 and ask for Officer Daniel Kuwabara.
