Tahiti Fête Scheduled for July 2 & 3 in Hilo

Fete Poster_adPua Tahiti Productions will presentTahiti Fête, a Polynesian Dance and Music Extravaganza, on Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.

The event will include a Tahitian dance competition, craft booths and island food.

Entertainment will be provided by Aunty Diana Aki at 1 p.m. on Saturday. From 2 to 3 p.m., Nā Hōkū Hanaohano Award winner Mark Yamanaka will take the stage.

On Sunday, Grammy Award nominee Kahulanui will perform at 1 p.m. From 3 to 3:30 p.m., Ben Kaili and Kanakapila will perform.

General admission tickets are $15; children ages 5 to 12 and seniors over 65, $10.

Tickets are available online, and at Basically Books, The Most Irresistible Shop in Hilo, Hilo Naniloa Hotel and at the box office on the day of the event.

Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium is located at 323 Manono St.
