The Big Island Film Festival, running from May 26-30, will host two free workshops to the public on May 27, including “Telling and Selling Your Story” with Jen Grisanti and “The Harmony of Music and Cinema” with Raymond Rolak.

At 9:45 a.m., Grisanti will present “Telling and Selling Your Story,” which will highlight techniques to elevate your screenplay and create marketability. She is a longtime television programmer.

Later the same day, Rolak, a veteran sports producer and content provider, will present “The Harmony of Music and Cinema.” In the workshop, Rolak will highlight new trends in product placement, trans-media, and the rising consumption of entertainment platforms in foreign markets.
