Two Motown performances featuring Broadway stars from “Motown: The Musical” will take place in West Hawai’i.

Jarran Muse and Martina Sykes will jump on stage at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa on May 13 and 14 for “Motown: Greatest Hits,” featuring performances that organizers say will have you “up dancing and singing before the night is over.”

The concerts will benefit several Big Island foundations and organizations, including the Kona Hospital Foundation, Hilo Medical Center Foundation, Family Support Hawai’i, and the Hawai’i Island Humane Society.

On Friday, May 13, Muse and Sykes will perform at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 and will be sold solely at the door. The doors will open at 6 p.m. with no host cocktails.

A second concert will be performed on Saturday, May 14 at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa.The show will begin at 7:30 p.m., with no host cocktails at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show must be purchased at the Hawaii Island Humane Society.
