The nearing end of the semester at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo and Hawai’i Community College usually signals a multitude of things for various people, among them, the annual Great Leaps Dance Concert.
Over 150 UH-Hilo and Hawai’I CC students will gather to perform Ballet, Jazz, and Modern and Aerial Dance routines choreographed by instructors, as well as guests Celeste Staton, Annie Bunker, Kea Kapahua, and Dori Yamada.
Students completing senior projects, Jenna Acia and Kawehi Kanoho-Kalahiki, will also present.

Two shows will take place, a $3 preview show on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. and the performance show on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. Both showings will take place at the UH-Hilo Performing Arts Center.
Tickets to the performance show are $7 for general admission, $5 for UH-Hilo and Hawai’i CC students with an ID, seniors, faculty, and children.
Purchase tickets at the UH-Hilo box office Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., by calling 932-7490, or by visiting the PAC website.
