Hawaiian Airlines Keeps ‘Most Punctual’ Status in February

Hawaiian Airlines again hit the mark for most punctual airline during the month of February.

The airline also completed the month of February as the top-ranked carrier for fewest flight cancellations.

February’s statistics were recently reported by the United States Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report.

The report ranks 16 of the country’s largest air carriers, including Hawaiian Airlines.

In February, Hawaiian Airlines flights arrived on schedule 91.9 percent of the time, up by a couple tenths of a percent from January. Only three of 5,851 flights were cancelled.

Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines ranked second and third in on-time arrivals at 89.3 percent and 87.8 percent, respectively.

Hawaiian Airlines also held the top rank for on-time arrivals in January with an on-time percentage of arrivals on schedule at 91.7 percen,t and in December, an on-time percentage of 93 percent.

Hawaiian Airlines flies non-stop service from Hawai’i to 11 cities in North America and about 160 flights between the Hawaiian Islands daily.
