Kona Man Sought on Warrant, Abuse Case Questioning

A 51-year-old Kailua-Kona man is being sought by authorities on a warrant of arrest for bail jumping.

The man, identified by the Hawai’i Police Department as James Matthew Westbrook, is also wanted for questioning in an abuse case.

Westbrook is described as 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He has blue eyes and blond hair.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Westbrook should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers line at 961-8300.
