Students interested in enrolling in the Hawai’i Community College – Palamanui culinary program are encouraged to apply for one of several Discovery Culinary Scholarships offered by the ACF Kona Kohala Chefs Association.
Each scholarship is worth $1,000. Interested applicants must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average and must provide their transcripts, a 500-word essay, two letters of recommendation, a completed application form, and a list showing involvement in the community in culinary activities.
Application forms are available at the ACF Kona Kohala Chefs Association website. Completed forms can be sent to Dr. Carol Whitaker by e-mail to [email protected] or through traditional mail to Kona Kohala Chefs. Assn. at P.O. Box 1268, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.
