Prom Dress Drive Hosted by Friends of the Children’s Justice Center

prom pixabayProm season is on the horizon, and the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center plan to host a Prom Dress Drive on several dates in March.

New and gently used prom, party dresses, and evening gowns will be collected, along with shoes, jewelry, and accessories.

The drop-off events will take place at the Hilo Naniloa Hotel on Friday, March 11 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Sunday, March 13 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Local high school students will receive the items so that they can attend prom.

Monetary donations will also be accepted at the drop-off.
