The Waiākea Titans and St. Joseph Cardinals were winners at last weekend’s Hawai’i Isle Police Activities League’s “Click it or Ticket” elementary and intermediate league basketball championships, held at Papai’kou Gym.

Waiākea took home the intermediate division championship, going 4-0 in round robin play. Members of the Titans squad included Kiai Apele, Chance Simeona, Macmillan Aloisio, Vergil Henry, Guyson Ogata, and Dominic Rodrigues.

St. Joseph Gold finished second in the intermediate division with a 3-1 record.

In the elementary division, St. Joseph won the tournament with a 31-28 win over Kealakehe Blue. The Cardinals team was comprised of Jayden Villena, Forrest Mckinney, Zayre Fuiava, Tiffany Castillo, Thomas Costa, Aidyn Cruise, Kavis Davies, Blayden Grace, Landry Ishii, and Stanislaw Stack.

A total of eight teams and 85 kids participated in the tournament.
