Pair Sought in Attempted Hilo Burglary

The Hawai’i Police Department is seeking information regarding two individuals who are wanted following an attempted burglary investigation in Hilo Friday morning.

According to police, the pair attempted to enter a home, located on the 800 block of Kukuau Street in the Sunrise Ridge subdivision of Hilo.

Both of the suspects were caught on surveillance video. A man in the footage is seen wearing a black T-shirt, light brown shorts, and white shoes. He appears to have the lower half of his leg tattooed. The woman captured in the images was wearing a red-and-white blouse with a dark design, blue jeans, and a cowboy-type hat.

Anyone who knows the identity of the individuals or who has information regarding the case should call Officer Matthew Lewis at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
