Ongoing construction work between Lanikaula Street and Kawili Street for the Kapiolani Extension continues. Alternating lane closures will take place about 800 feet towards Kawili Street. Street parking is unavailable in the area and two-way traffic will be reduced to one lane. Work includes the installation of a new concrete curb, drainage improvements, gutter and sidewalks, roadway reconstruction, signing and striping, utility relocation, driveway, and property tie-ins.

Reconstruction work on Komohana Street, from Kukuau Street towards Waianuenue Avenue, will be conducted. The project involves the reconstruction of about 4,000 feet of roadway, traffic signal upgrades, pavement striping, and the replacement of utility valves and boxes. Alternating lane closures will be in effect in the area. The roadwork will begin at 7 a.m.

Along Mamalahoa Highway, beginning at Farm and Garden Repair and extending past L&L Drive-Inn, a traffic shift to the mauka lane will take place. The shift will begin Wednesday, Nov 4 and last through May 2016. The traffic change is to accommodate the erection of a 475 foot retaining wall along the makai side of Mamalahoa Highway.
