Two men involved in a Hilo burglary on Tuesday are being sought after by the Hawai’i Police Department.

South Hilo Patrol officers reportedly responded to a report of a burglary on the 1000 block of Ainaola Drive just after 10:15 a.m.

Authorities say a 63-year-old Hilo woman went to a friend’s home where she observed a van parked in the driveway. She entered the home and encountered two men, one of whom threatened her with a firearm.

The men reportedly ran out of the house, dropping jewelry as they fled. As the pair drove away, they struck the victim’s sedan and damaged both vehicles.
