Maintenance work on various crosswalks along Kuakini Highway between Palani Road and Hualalai Road will take place throughout the week by Hawai’i County Department of Public Works crews.
Work will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather and construction conditions permitting.
DPW officials say that maintenance at the Kuakini Highway and Hualalai Road intersection, specifically, is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30.
Off-duty police officers will be posted at the Kuakini Highway and Hualalai Road intersection to facilitate traffic movement.
