The Hawai’i Island Police Activities League is looking for participants to take part in next months’s Halloween Havoc #8, held Oct. 24-25 in the Panaewa covered playcourts at Panaewa Park.
Entries are being taken for teams in the following age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, high school boys, girls 10 and under, girls 12 and under, girls 14 and under, and high school girls. The age cutoff for each division is Dec. 31, 2015.
During the event, HI-PAL officials will present information on creating safe Halloween activities, give information on their “Click it or Ticket” campaign, and hold a Child Safety Seat check point.
