Missing 66-year-old Hilo man, Joseph Whitney has been located.

The Hawai’i Police Department reports that Whitney was found in Hilo Friday, unharmed.

Sixty-six-year-old Hilo man Joseph Whitney has been reported missing.

The Hawai’i Police Department says that Whitney was last seen in Hilo on Sept. 1.

Whitney is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-6, and 127 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Whitney’s whereabouts should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
