Local Non-Profit Hosts Work Day

Pōhāhā I Ka Lani, a local non-profit based in Waipi’o Valley, is hosting a public work day this month.

Pōhāhā I Ka Lani focuses on the preservation and restoration of Hawaiian culture through the ancient village site of Nāpo’opo’o in Waipi’o Valley. The group’s organizers are hosting an “Aloha Aina La Hana” at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The non-profit recently received $83,500 in grant money.
